Ofelia is an associate in the Seattle office of Holt Woods & Scisciani LLP. After graduating from university and law school in Arizona, Ofelia spent a year practicing in the areas of criminal, immigration, and civil litigation. In that year, she represented clients in all aspects of misdemeanor and felony matters, as well as conducted hearings and trials for removal proceedings in immigration court. On the civil side, she worked for a private firm assisting in insurance defense and subrogation matters. Upon relocating to Washington, Ofelia served as a litigation attorney with State Farm where she independently handled a mixture of auto and fire cases through all aspects of litigation, including trial. While at State Farm, Ofelia was the office pioneer for the first in-person civil trial in Snohomish County during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the first to conduct a trial by Zoom.
Ofelia enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and their animals, and is teaching herself to speak Korean.
